Barça Ready for First Game at Upgraded Camp Nou over the weekend

Barça revealed they are set to host at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in La Liga two and a half years since relocating so building work could begin.

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside as per the current authorization. When completed, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.

Stadium Testing

The club conducted a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch earlier this month. They mentioned they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture versus the German side on 9 December in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
