The former president's Granddaughter Seeks Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

Kai Trump will have multiple high-profile backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, received a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple golf courses and often plays against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa practically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's busy with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has competed in a mere three competitions this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

However she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with her mother.

"He is the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior person. He told me to go out there, relax, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that her participation helps introduce golf to new audiences, specifically with youth audiences.

The social media influencer boasts a massive following and has started her own clothing and lifestyle brand.

Her first tee time at 5:30 PM GMT.
