This event led to the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray caused injuries at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two counts of robbery and charges for using a harmful chemical, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after getting out of a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.

A toddler was caught up in the incident in the event. Several persons required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – described by police as was not part of a series and deemed non-terroristic – led to train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
